The precise terminology varies and the operational guidance is often non existent. This area is posing a host of challenges for legal, (ownership and responsibilities), practical, geographic and methodological issues in the marine sector especially with consultations. This conference would cover the key issues with a view to helping to resolve the issues highlighted. This meeting will also include a discussion on the use of tools and social science techniques.
