As climate change and sustainability become central elements of policy making there is an opportunity to learn from others and to build on existing best practice in coastal management, climate change and adaptation.

The Coastal Communities Adapting Together (CCAT) event hosted by Fingal County Council and Cardiff University brought  together a diverse range of practitioners and academics with expertise in policy making, coastal management, climate change adaptation, community engagement and more. There were speakers from national and local governments looking at community case studies from across Ireland, England and Wales.

The event was CPD  accredited for Engineers Ireland, the Irish Planning Institute and the Irish Landscape Institute.

You can see the full agenda and watch the event recording on the CCAT Project website here.
