Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum and Netherwood Sustainable Futures are working with Pembrokeshire Public Services Board to develop a Pembrokeshire-wide Climate Adaptation Strategy.

This Strategy will be developed with stakeholders across the county, and will be focused on improving Pembrokeshire’s resilience to the risks outlined in the recent Wales Summary of the UK Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA3), which includes more frequent and disruptive severe weather events.

There are five facilitated workshops between January and May 2022 to collect multiple perspectives from leaders, businesses, public authorities and community leaders/representatives. We invite you to attend and contribute.

You can get involved by:

Indicating your interest by emailing alex.cameron-smith@pembrokeshirecoastalforum.org.uk

Strategy development will focus on:
• managing combined risks resulting from climate change, in particular locations and communities across Pembrokeshire
• dealing with multiple risks to the county’s economy, infrastructure and the environment
• understanding the actions required from stakeholders in this context, taking into account those actions already being implemented in current plans
Your input is important to help Pembrokeshire adapt and build resilience to the health, environmental and financial implications of a changing climate.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund.
