PCF Impact Report 2024–25
Measuring Our Impact, Sharing Our Story
At Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum (PCF), collaboration has always been at the heart of what we do. For 25 years, we’ve brought people together to create solutions for a sustainable coast and ocean – and this year, we’re proud to share two publications that capture both the difference we make and the breadth of our work: the PCF Impact Report 2024–25 and our new PCF Brochure.
Understanding Our Impact
Our latest Impact Report shows the real-world outcomes of our work, measured through the Social Value Engine, a nationally recognised framework that translates outcomes into financial value.
In 2024–25, PCF generated over £3.8 million in social value, equating to £3.41 in impact for every £1 invested.
This figure reflects the value of:
-
Communities enabled to adapt to climate risks
-
Fair employment and Living Wage commitments
-
Improved health and wellbeing through outdoor programmes
-
Stronger local partnerships and networks
-
Education and skills initiatives that connect people with coastal futures
Our work spans marine energy, climate adaptation, education, sustainable recreation, water quality, and aquaculture – and the Impact Report demonstrates how each of these areas contributes to healthier environments, stronger communities, and lasting resilience.
Introducing the
PCF Brochure
While the Impact Report looks at results from the past year, the PCF Brochure provides a broader picture of who we are and what we do.
Inside, you’ll find:
-
Our vision, mission, and values
-
Programme areas: Marine Renewable Energy, Climate Adaptation, Education, Skills & Engagement, Sustainable Recreation, and Water Quality & Land Use
-
Our story so far – how PCF was formed in 2000 and how we’ve grown since
-
Profiles of our team, board, and partners
-
Opportunities to get involved and support our mission
The brochure is designed as a reference for partners, funders, and communities – a clear introduction to PCF and the breadth of projects we deliver today.
Celebrating 25 Years
We launched the Impact Report and Brochure during our 25th anniversary celebration at Haverhub, where we welcomed the First Minister, founders, partners, and supporters to reflect on PCF’s journey so far. The event was both a thank you and a reminder that our work is made possible by the people and organisations who share our vision.
Looking Ahead
Together, the Impact Report and Brochure highlight why PCF exists: to inspire, collaborate and deliver solutions for sustainable coastal communities. As we move forward, we’ll continue to build on this foundation, helping Wales’ coast and ocean thrive for generations to come.
