On Thursday 28th October the Welsh Government is publishing a new Net Zero Wales Plan: a five-year plan of action to get Wales to net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The event will have speakers including First Minister Mark Drakeford and will be streamed live to a public audience.

From the 4th-10th November, COP Cymru will provide the space for the people of Wales to have important conversations mirroring the COP26 Presidency Programme themes. There are four regional roadshows across Wales which are open to the public as virtual events. Marine Energy Wales will participate in the “Energy Transition” roadshow, presenting latest developments in wave, tidal and floating offshore wind and highlighting innovations to steer Wales to net zero carbon emissions. PCF will be speaking at the “Adaptation and Resilience” roadshow on our climate change engagement work with a coastal community in Pembrokeshire.

Wales Climate Week is also running from the 22nd-26th November: the online sessions will help people understand what Wales has already achieved, what changes we can expect in the next five years and how we can all shape the future.

To register for all events please do so here – more detailed information will be available nearer the time.
