Pembrokeshire Coast National Park ‘Changing Coasts’ – get involved
The huge winter storms of 2014 and the changes to the beach at Abereiddi have led to a new project called Changing Coasts.
In partnership with the National Trust, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority (PCNPA) have erected a metal bracket and a small green sign on a post on the path to the Blue Lagoon. They are asking people to stop and take a photo looking back across the beach using the bracket as a rest to ensure image consistency.
Photos can be emailed to – photos@pembrokeshirecoast.org.uk. Once enough have been received, PCNPA will stitch them together in to a time-lapse film.
More locations are planned across the County which have big potential for change.
