The Coast at the Castle

Friday 14th April, 11am – 3pm, Pembroke Castle

Ever wondered what it would be like to abseil down the tower at Pembroke Castle? Join us on 14th April and you can find out.

PCF have teamed up with The Overhang Tenby and the Big Blue Experience to bring a series of coastal activities to one of Pembrokeshire’s most iconic locations: Pembroke Castle.

These activities will be free for anyone for any age to take part in (please note: you will need to pay entry to the castle).

There will be abseiling off the tower (11am-1pm), stand up paddleboarding on the mill pond (1-3pm) and even a surf simulator in the castle grounds (11am-2pm). The idea is to promote adventurous activities in Wales in exciting, legendary locations as part of Visit Wales’s Year of Legends (2017).

The project has been funded via the Welsh Government’s Tourism Product Innovation Fund which aims to encourage new innovative product ideas working in partnership which will have a greater impact and attract more visitors.
