Those of you who read last month’s newsletter will have spotted Câr-Y-Môr featuring in the Climate Cymru tour of Wales. Câr-Y-Môr is a Community Benefit Society based near St Davids, comprised of 105 members. They aim to start the first commercial seaweed and shellfish farm in Wales, providing year-round jobs and aspiring to improve the coastal environment.
We are delighted to confirm that Câr-Y-Môr and PCF have been awarded funding from WWF UK to support Câr-Y-Môr’s stakeholder engagement work, and to ensure that all of the learning from this developing sector is captured. A warm welcome on board to Dan Lewis, the new Stakeholder Engagement Lead at Câr-Y-Môr.
