Wildlife Sightings Event 2016 – Photography Competition Now Open!

The 7th Annual Wildlife Sightings Event will be held on 21st October 2016 at the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven. The evening will celebrate Pembrokeshire’s unique landscapes and wildlife with a range of expert speakers sharing stories and images of their wildlife sightings in Pembrokeshire from the past year. An exhibition will also take place giving local businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and services.

The most popular aspect of this event is the photography competition, which we are delighted to announce is now open. Last year nearly 100 entries were received from both amateurs and professionals and all of them demonstrated the diversity of wildlife which Pembrokeshire has to offer.

For the first time alongside the photography competition there will also be a Young Person’s contest for those aged 12 and under, to encourage children to get outside this summer. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries chosen by an expert panel, and there will also be a People’s Choice Award (voting for which opens in October).
