Last week saw the first session of our Early Summer Woodland Wellbeing programme at the beautiful Kingsmill Woods.
We were welcomed to the woods by woodland leader, Chris Elliott. We had a tour around the wonderful woods and spent time learning about the different flora and fauna found in this area. Then, we learnt about some primitive woodcraft and tools, and had chance to practice our fire-lighting skills!
We also enjoyed sitting down with a cuppa, soaking up the sights and sounds of nature.
We are looking forward to running all of the upcoming sessions.
This project is being run by Coed Lleol, Small Woods, and hosted by us at Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum. To learn more about the work Coed Lleol does, you can visit their website here www.smallwoods.org.uk/en/coedlleol
