Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum Structure

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum (PCF), chaired by Nick Ainger MP, is made up of  individuals as well as private, public and voluntary organisations.  The Forum structure comprises a Steering Committee and  11 Topic Groups covering a wide range of subjects (see below). Each topic group is chaired by a representative with expert knowledge of that particular field.  The Forum meets for an AGM in the spring which is open to all. The Forum is supported by the Coastal Forum Team, who are now based in Milford Haven.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum is guided by the Steering Committee, which meets twice per year. The Committee consists of the chair from each of the eleven Forum Topic Groups  and a representative from each of the statutory bodies on the Coastal Partnership . The Steering  Committee, chaired by Christine Gwyther, agrees an annual programme of work for the PCF,  helps develop the role of the PCF and Topic groups and responds to consultations on strategic  issues.

During the year, the Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum holds Topic Group meetings and debates to examine different coastal and marine issues of interest to individuals and organisations around the coast. The Topic Groups allow facilitation, discussion and dissemination on the topic. Details of forthcoming topic group debates/events can be found on the Activities page.

Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum team

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum team is headed by the Forum Manager, Tonia Forsyth, who oversees the general management of the Forum to include PCF activities and projects as well as sourcing funds for continuation of the work.  The Forum also manages certain projects. Tom Luddington, the Activities Liaison Officer, is specifically responsible for the Pembrokeshire Outdoor Charter and Marine Code projects and David Jones is the Coastal Recreation Audit Officer.
