GIS Mapping
Geographic Information system (GIS) is increasingly being used in environmental management, particularly to assist with marine planing. The Wales Activity Mapping project is a collaborative approach with multiple partners that uses GIS as an evidence based approach.
The Wales Activity Mapping GIS system is designed primarily at Recreation, Conservation and Tourism managers but the uses are wide ranging. PCF designed the project for multiple users with differing needs.
